Hand knitted and Crochet Baby Blanket - just literally finished half an hour ago... I hope you like it.

I have loved working these gorgeous yarns, Studio Chunky yarn silky super chunky anti-pilling pale cream yarn and SnUggly soft Rainbow Baby Softie Yarn.
I love using these yarns as they have been developed with been developed with anti-pilling technology, so you won’t get those annoying little bobbles after a few washes.

The yarns i chose for this are a little bit more expensive than the standard baby yarn which is reflected in the price.

This Multi technique baby blanket combines my love for knitting and crochet. The pattern for this blanket is my own, its very simple but it allows the stitches and yarn to speak for themselves and its simpleness means that it is a timeless design.

Not bling enough for you? if you would like crochet flowers or slotted ribbons this can easily be accommodated just ask. I purposely left this design as it is as thats my personal choice but can easily be added to if you would like

The blanket is approx 30" square so is ideal to use as a blanket, pram topper or a snuggly cover to keep the little one warm in the carseat

This can be washed on a delicate or wool cycle unto 30 degrees, to keep its shape lay flat to dry, not suitable for tumble drying and no need for ironing.

Print and cut out images, using craft knife and cutting mat for delicate areas. Ink edges with coordinating ink pad or marker for a finished look. Apply largest image to card stock with runner adhesive. Apply other image layers with foam tape cut into small pieces for 3D effect.

Add sentiment in desired location. Add crystal gems or other embellishments as desired. Add organza ribbon to left of image.
